I was all prepared to go on this diatribe about how customer service is lacking, how kids should not think of Starbucks as a playground, how some of the mainline gals might want to invest in a bit of etiquette school because some are missing the manner gene, etc. However, anger has since subsided, coffee has been procured, my face has gone from an angry crimson to normal and, quite frankly, it’s really not worth it. I do, however, reserve the right to go off on my customer service diatribe at a later date.
Instead, I’m going to yet again attempt to be a kinder, gentler Aly and tell my inner wench that it wouldn’t help to have some patience, with the occasionally stomping of the stiletto. Let’s hope that, like Lent, I don’t utterly fail. After all, while I’m not Jewish, today is Yom Kippur and, perhaps, maybe we all can use a day of atonement – or perhaps another pumpkin spice latte.
And how was your day?
Disclaimer: That photo is totally not Wiggs – just a VERY patient puggy at ‘bucks. My pug – well, let’s just say bull in china shop won’t even begin to describe it.
